This is exactly what it says it is. And yes, we are serious. After Jerry's post (in the CA trbe), I find I no longer have the stomach to debate the issue any further. Let's get our own land... The one rule of the New Tribe is *NO* mudslinging. That is the one thing that will get your post deleted. The link is :

Re: We have started a new tribe...for the Pangenderist Homeland Search...
Mon, November 6, 2006 - 8:47 PMI can't quite decide how I feel about this...
Because I am in full support of the men who wish to have faggot-only space at Wolf Creek whenever they deem it necessary, and being a non-faggot I'm all about baking more pies instead of asking for a slice of someone else's...
Hmm... Can I join and then sit quietly in the background while waiting to see how this develops?
Love,
Gazelle. -

Mon, November 6, 2006 - 9:03 PMAll who want to can join, all I ask is that we be kind to one the other, and if *you* have issues with someone, please take it elsewhere.

Re: We have started a new tribe...for the Pangenderist Homeland Search...
Tue, November 14, 2006 - 9:52 PMSome may be surprised, but shouldn't be really, that I wholeheartedly support a Pangenderist homeland. I have always said I support all parts of our communities, I have simply asked that a faggot community be allowed to flourish as one of them.
At the Nov. 2004 Nomenus Great circle we concensed to umbrella such a group under our 501-C3 tax exempt status so that donations would be tax deductible, and to offer whatever advise and help we could.
There hasn't been a lot done in the last 2 years since then and I hope some folks including Womyn, transfolk, etc., not just queer men eventually start meeting & getting the project off the ground.
Before beginning major fundraising, once a group begins meeting, a President, Secretary and a Treasurer will need to be selected and a bank acount opened. Fundraising, and a land search will be the major challenges. It took Nomenus, at first called the Gay Vision Circle, about 3 years to fundraise, find, and buy the land at Wolf Creek. Availability of water, neighbors who aren't hostile, whether to get land with facilities like buildings, or cheaper land without buildings, all this will figure in a land search. Good luck & blessed be!-JTF -

Re: We have started a new tribe...for the Pangenderist Homeland Search...
Wed, November 15, 2006 - 8:19 AMJerry, coming from you, I find my emotions are going up and down. I am very, I don't quite know how to describe it. Flabbergasted comes to mind. And gratitude. Thank You for your support. This means (I figured this out after I got over the initial shock), a lot, no, not strong enough, this is (to me), an unprecedented support from an otherwise completely unexpected corner of the people-sphere. Yes, I am aware that Nomenus does the sponsor thingy, Zuni being a prime example. I'm quite sure that we will ask for this. We are going through some initial early stage gyrations, but that is to be expected.
Thank You,
AAOO (Sean)
